Roles and Responsibilities

A Software Engineer Responsible for development and maintenance of server-side scripts for various Network Automations. Also responsible for Testing and Integration of the Automations with the Network.

Role Description:

• Understand the requirement of the Users and ensure a successful rollout.
• Design, Development, and Testing of the Automations.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization.
• Involve in Change Managements for existing and new Automations.
• Optimization of code for maximum speed and efficiency.
• Desired Skills and Competencies

Education and Experience:

• Educational Qualification of BE with Computer Science/Information Science/ECE.
• 0-2 Years of experience in Python Scripting/Automation roles

Functional Competencies:

• Understanding and Experience with Python (2.7, 3. x) and Integrations with Networking platforms.
• Knowledge of Python libraries for Network Scripting.
• Knowledge and experience with Linux Platform.
• Basic Understanding of Network Fundamentals (TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, VLAN, SNMP).
• Familiarity with Web servers (Apache), Databases (MySQL)
