Job Description:
This position will be responsible to oversee the day-to-day operations of the DevOps department. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in fast-paced and growing environments and should be proficient with Unix concepts and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Experience in DevOps and Infrastructure deployment and operating with Agile scrum teams
2.Experience on Google Cloud Platform
3.Working experience on Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, GCE
4.Demonstrated experience with Linux administration
5.Scripting/Automation experience using Bash/Python/Perl
6.Experience on Java-based build tools Maven, Gradle
7.Experience of continuous integration tools Jenkins, git, Artifacts
8.Knowledge of configuration, Infrastructure management tools Ansible, Salt, Terraform
9.Knowledge on Stackdriver, Dynatrace Application monitoring tool, and Zabbix/Nagios
10.Knowledge of Network architecture for infrastructure, Ip networking, VPN’s, Load balancing
11.Familiarity with basic networking concepts of DNS, NTP, DHCP, VLAN’s, HTTP/HTTPs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1.Good knowledge about operating systems like Linux, Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, SCOM
2.Good knowledge about networking concepts & architecture
3.Good to have Java-based build tools Maven, Gradle & application monitoring tools
4.Very good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and written & verbal communication skills
5.Willing to work in shifts including night and weekends
